Drew Gaither just finished his first year with the football program at the University of the South.

Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, he served as an assistant coach at Georgia Southern University in 2021 and 2022, splitting time between working with the outside and inside linebackers. In addition, he was a part of the special teams and recruiting. 

He also served as a student assistant at Western Carolina University during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, working with multiple facets of the program, including assisting the Defensive and Special Teams Coordinators and the Tight Ends coach. 

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Sports Management minor from Western Carolina and a Master of Kinesiology: Coaching Education from Georgia Southern.
